Dear friends, I'm back from Switzerland where we stayed in Gstaad. The Swiss Alps are beautiful and the sun was shining all the time during our stay. We also visited the Blausee, the beautiful turquoise lake not far away from Gstaad. According to the legend, the blue color comes from the blue eyes of a young girl who went to the lake out of grief at the death of her lover. Since then, the lake has taken the blue color as a reminder of her blue eyes and the eternal love. In the middle of the lake, you can see the figure of a woman sitting on the ground...

SKI TIME ! We went there one week before the official holidays so we were lucky to enjoy empty and soft slopes, because on Sunday, it changed - long lines and icy slopes. You can eat the best cheese fondue at 'Posthotel Rössli', nomnomnom, also a very cozy and authentic place, loved it! The main street of Gstaad has 2-3 fancy boutiques and restaurants, and that's it actually. We desperately looked for some après-ski.. Hm. In the end, we noticed that in Austria last year, we experienced a more joyful ambiance, even before the official holidays. So we decided that next year, we'd move towards Austria again, also because of larger slopes. In the whole, we had much fun among the huge white guardians of Switzerland which totally amazed me!

HOTEL - HUUS GSTAAD

Nice rooms, beautiful lobby and amazing view. Also I liked tapas bar and the cocktails (pink mojito mhmmm). They have 2-3 saunas and a pool. For me, there were a few things missing in the service, especially when considering the price we paid, but we enjoyed our stay anyway!
