Anna Katina X Bram.lu - the conclusion
Hello my friends! I'm back with a new article, it's about my collaboration with Bram.lu. As you may know, every month I created a look at the fashion store and presented it on bram.lu and my blog. The six months of collaboration are over now and I thought it could be a good idea to show you all the looks one more time and tell you a bit about this wonderful experience! PS. New exciting adventures are planned, can't wait to tell you more about them!!
LOOK 1 - FESTIVAL LOOK

So, I'm honest with you, as a city girl, I rarely went to Bram for shopping before we started the collab. I didn't really know the brand selection and didn't find anything. I used to think that the clothes were not made for my age, what a mistake! When the collaboration started, I analysed the whole store which was difficult at the beginning because it is simply huge! So many brands, divided in sections with younger and affordable fashion, as well as more elegant and expensive brands. You need to spend some time at the store to understand those divisions.
LOOK 2 - SUMMER OF LOVE

As I snooped around I fell in love with Bram, because I carefully went through all the collections and found pieces that I would have never seen if I randomly walked through the store. The quality is not comparable to Zara and you have so many beautiful, trendy pieces. My favourite brands here are SET Fashion, Essentiel Antwerp, Michael Kors, Pepe Jeans, Scotch and Soda, Marco Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Furla and Twin Set. In the meantime, I know all the departments by heart and I can't wait to come back for some shopping!
LOOK 3 - BACK STREET COLOURS, THE PERFECT LOOK IN THE SUN & RAIN

So how did I proceed to create my monthly looks? I checked out the trends of the moment through magazines and Instagram which helped me a lot to select a trendy but still personal look, I mean, you always feel more comfortable in clothes that you like, right? I generally spent 2 hours at the shop, sometimes I came back because I was not inspired, sometimes I came back 2-3 times to create the perfect look.

So, this fashionable period was an amazing experience for me and I thank Bram.lu for offering me this opportunity and for the trust. It was an honour to be your guest contributor! What I learned is that fashion is like art, as a stylist you need to be inspired to create a look. It doesn't happen out of the blue. You need to be passionated about fashion, know as many designers as possible and be aware of the trends all the time. My newspapers are fashion magazines, fashion websites where you can follow the latests shows and news, Instagram but also showcases.
