I have this thing with the Belgian seaside...

June vibes are in the air! Hello friends, I'm just back from a short vacation spent at the Belgian seaside! I'm coming to this place since I'm a little child and it's always a pleasure.. Do you know that feeling when you arrive somewhere you haven't been for a while and there's something in the air you feel every time you arrive? A feeling of coming home, nostalgia? Well that's exactly what I feel everytime I arrive at the Belgian North Sea.

So, I thought it was time for a little break and took my daddy to our favourite village Wenduine. We also visited the neighbour town De Haan which has the cutest architecture, the best ice-cream (The Australian, homemade) and nice fashion shops. What I really like in Wenduine is to walk along the dyke and continue the stroll on the sand, beside the sea. I'm happy that both villages finally opened beach bars, a mojito in the sun is always a good idea! 

I think that the coast and especially Wenduine is perfect for families with kids and dogs because of the multiple activities like the family sized biking go kart or the skatepark! It's a small village so you have a good overview. But it's also a nice idea for couples to enjoy long walks, beautiful sunsets, privacy on the never ending beach and tasty dinners! The wind is much present during the current period but you get used to it!
