Copenhagen by Anna Katina - the book

Freshly published, my first book is out now! Copenhagen by Anna Katina, a photography-based book that captures my personal impression of the city. The idea was to create a fusion of an art book and a city guide. In this book, I wanted to highlight the less obvious side of Copenhagen. By sharing cafés, boutiques, museums, street fashion and moments of local life, I hope to immerse readers in my personal experience of the city, one that feels authentic and approachable.

The design and premium printing choices were also carefully considered to align with the Danish design ethos: thoughtful, functional, and timeless. The open-spine stitch binding, carefully selected paper, and clean aesthetic should reflect the city’s commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful design, making the book itself a tribute to Copenhagen’s creative soul. My goal was to create an object that can be displayed in a beautiful corner of a home, office, or café, and that is not only satisfying to look at, browse through but also to touch.
